I make a lot of food in quantity, and put in meal sized vacuum seal bags. This vacuum sealer has 2 really nice and useful features. It has a extra lever/bar that allows placement of bag then lock bag in place by pushing this lever/bar down into the lock position. Then you can seal or evacuate hands free. It has a separate vacuum actuation button so you can pulse the vacuum operation thus gently and with more control evacuate bags with lots of liquid.
