You never know sometimes with a new product, and clothing fits everyone differently. I took a chance on these and was VERY surprised on how nice they are, and a great price. They are "perforated" all over but you really don't notice it until you're a few inches away. I'm looking forward to them on a hot day. The elastic waistband is not like "old man" volley shorts (no insult intended), it's much more subtle and still is effective on size flexibility. The shorts feel great, super soft, and there are some nice tonal stitching logos. They are a flat front and I found them somewhat of a slim-fit (but not super hipster slim). Overall, I've been impressed with where the brand is going and the quality of the goods they are producing. Looking forward to additional styles.
