I own a PPM 808 mixer and a pair of SRM 450 monitors. I purchased bags for the monitors but used a spare bag I had for the mixer. Not the best choice but it sufficed over the years. It's important to note that the older PPM mixers are uniquely shaped. The mixer has a slanted shape to it and is not square like the new models. This always proved challenging when using a non-form fitting bag. I found this Mackie branded bag on Amazon for a very good price. It was noted by another reviewer that the bag fit the older version mixers so I ordered one based on this.Amazon is at times slow in updating product advertising and the visuals that accompany the descriptions. I am happy to report that this bag does indeed fit the older PPM 808 mixer like a glove. It will also accommodate all the older, slanted shaped mixers from the period.The bag is extremely well made and thoughtfully conceived. The bag has reinforcement panels in the front and back, a zippered pocket for power cord and other necessities, a heavy duty adjustable, padded shoulder strap and stands up on its end so the mixer can be lowered into the bag. There are also four heavy duty rubber foot pads on the bottom. The bag zips open and shut on one end only and has an access flap for the handle on the mixer. The nylon used is heavy duty as are the zippers. The bag is also easy to keep clean and a damp cloth is all that's needed for general cleaning.This bag, Iike the monitor bags, should provide many years of trouble free use and I highly recommend its purchase if you own an older, slanted design powered mixer from Mackie.
