I bought this to carry my clothes, a camera, & my cell phone on a river tubing trip. I was nervous about electronics & potential water seepage, so I put my phone and camera inside of two Ziploc bags and put those bags inside of this dry bag. The Ziploc bags were an unnecessary precaution. I spend 4 hours on the river, during which time this bag became submerged repeatedly. At the end of the trip, not a single drop of water had found its way inside. My clothes were completely dry and electronics were safe and dry. Before I purchased this item, I looked at a lot of dry bags and read several reviews before settling on this one. The fact that it came with a carrying strap was ultimately what made me decide on this one. The strap was great and I was able to wear the dry bag across my body, instead of tying it to the tube, and that made me feel more comfortable. This one is still in great shape, but when it comes time to replace it, I would definitely buy it again.
