I carted my valuables everywhere in this bag while walking in Spain. It was big enough for my phone, wallet and passport. The clasp creates a handle to hang from hooks in showers or onto things like paddle boards. The bags are made of super fine nylon and have a pleasant feel to them, I often tucked it into my sleeping bag. My choice of red helped me not forget in.Built quality looks good. Hopefully it serves the purpose. This dry bag was amazing! Kept all my son's gear dry for 8 days of canoeing at Northern Tier High Adventure base!I am traveling through the west and am using it in my backpacking gear. I have several products from this company because of the high qualityreally thin and you can see the contents inside. I am not sure how the screw in the replaceable buckle will hold up.I never had a problem with the old style breaking. Contents did not get wet after being left out in a 9.5in rainstorm.Ok well shipping was fast of course. I purchased the 13L for my section hike of the AT. Wanted something that will hold all my clothes other than what I will be wearing and the size I believe is perfect. Puffy jacket, change of underwear, Socks, another outfit, base layer and anything extra that will need to stay dry. I filled it and ran it under the sink for a few mins and everything was dry so I don’t have any doubts what u put in will stay dry so that concern is no longer. I wouldn’t submerge it but under normal use it should be fine. I also sprayed the seams inside and out with waterproofing for just an extra layer of protection, which it probably didn’t need it. As for the build quality, it’s perfect. Typical Sea to Summit, good quality. It seems thin and it is but it also seems that for what I’m intending to do with it it should last many seasons unless I snag it on something. Not to fear it is of good quality. Buckles are nicely made and fit together very good and can be replaced if in time that becomes necessary. This bag weighs next to nothing so for Ultra lighters it’s great. My suggestion is that if u wanna use it for clothing to stay dry for hiking it’s perfect. If u wanna use it for a food bag, I would recommend using Dyneema instead. Unless u are not worried about animals and such. This dry bag will not hold up to mice, critters, bears etc. But to keep the contents dry this bag is a no brainer. Dry, light weight and build quality it’s the one to get. Just pick the size u need. Hope this helps. I’m happy with mine and u will be too, just use it for what it is intended for. As long as u don’t submerge it it will be completely water repellent I’ve tested it.It seals well, it's light and it's toughSea to Summit doesn’t disappoint with this bag. Super lightweight and does a great job at keep moisture out. Or in my case, a leak proof hand wash bag. There are dry bags and there are dry bags, and this has to be one of the best. Lovely and lightweight, not expensive and multi-use. Some of my other dry bags are a bit on the heavy side, but this one is like a feather by comparison. Completely waterproof. A great product, very pleased.I split my tent up and this bag now holds the fabric parts.I have several sea to summit bags and they work very well.Great product. I really like the Sea to Summit brand and the quality of their gear - Always feels like a well developed product. These are waterproof and light. Have tested in the kitchen sink so I’m confident it will hold up in my backpack.Accidentally dragged one of these on a lanyard behind a kayak for nearly an hour - the contents stayed completely dry. They’re also slightly transparent so you can see what’s inside.I have bought various sizes of these bags for my daughters expeditions with Scouts over the years. They are great and very robust, thoroughly recommend
